The minute I read the synopsis of this book, I NEEDED it in my hands. Waiting for has been unbelievably hard especially when that cover is HOT. AS. HELL. There is still about a month left until I can read this and all I can say is that I. WANT. IT. NOW.

To say that I need this book ASAP is a huge understatement. The fact that I have to wait until SEPTEMBER to read it still hasn’t fully registered in my mind. This series is one of my favorite series of all time and I can’t wait to get my hands on this book. I will say though that serious distraction tactics will be needed so I am not constantly thinking about how long I have to wait for it because that is going to happen.

I read Heart and Sole about 3 years ago and really enjoyed it! When I saw this gorgeous cover and read the synopsis, I knew I had to add this to my TBR pile. Also, I love the heroine and hero’s names. Am I the only one where the hero and heroine’s names can influence whether or not I am interested in reading the book in question? I feel like that is such a trivial detail but when I’m feeling the names of the characters I like the book so much more.

How did I not know that Kate Meader was coming out with another book this year besides the ones in her Chicago Rebels series!?!!? AND, it is the first book in a new series involving cynical divorce lawyers. UMMM, YES PLEASE!! 2018 just keeps getting better and better lol.

Ummm, I don’t know about you but that cover is GORGEOUS!!! I mean, try looking at that cover and to not have the urge to get your hands on it ASAP because that is literally what happened to me. Now, I haven’t read any of the other books in the Brooklyn Bruisers series (I do own the first one though) but that issue will be resolved as soon as possible because this book will be read by the end of this year.
