#CRAMATHON TBR

Time for another read-a-thon! It has been less than a week since I participated in READ-O-RAMA, but I had so much fun doing it as well as writing about my progress each day that I couldn’t pass up the chance to participate in another. #CRAMATHON is a read-a-thon created and hosted by Whitney over at WhittyNovels on Youtube. She is a wonderful booktuber and you should definitely check her videos out if you have the chance.

#CRAMATHON is a 4 day read-a-thon that was created to help readers cram in as many books as they can in an effort to lower their TBR piles or  help them reach their Goodreads challenge that they set for the year. WhittyNovels hosted this read-a-thon last Christmas so that whoever participated could get some last minute reading in to reach their goals before the year ended. Her approach to this read-a-thon is read books that are usually smaller or shorter in length that way you are able to read a lot in a short amount of time. Books like children’s books, graphic novels, novellas, or books written in verse tend to fit within these guidelines and you will see all of them represented in the books I have chosen below.

#CRAMATHON starts at 12AM (your time zone) on July 10th and ends at 11:59PM (your time zone) on July 13th. Like the other read-a-thon, there are challenges that have been created and I will be trying to complete them to the best of my ability.
Here are the 7 challenges for #CRAMATHON:

1. Read a children’s book
2. Read a hardback
3. Read 2 books in 24 hours
4. Read a graphic novel
5. Read a book written in verse
6. Read a novella
7. Read 5 books total

For some of these challenges, I actually have chosen two options so if I am able to read the 5 books selected to complete the challenges above, I will move on to, I guess what I will call, my extras.
Here are the books I have decided to read for the challenges:

1. Read a children’s book Nancy Drew #18: The Mystery at the Moss-covered Mansion by Carolyn Keene
2. Read a hardback A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks
3. Read 2 books in 24 hours
4. Read a graphic novel The Iron King the graphic novel by Julie Kagawa
5. Read a book written in verse How to (Un)Cage a Girl by Francesca Lia Block
6. Read a novella Castle Hill: A Joss and Braden Novella by Samantha Young
7. Read 5 books total

**Extras**
Locomotion by Jacqueline Woodson
Peace, Locomotion by Jacqueline Woodson

I can’t wait for this read-a-thon to start! As always, I will be updating my progress each day so stay tuned for tomorrow to see how I did on Day 1.  If anyone wants to take part in this read-a-thon, you are more than welcome to. Happy Reading 🙂
